Emil Otto has been producing chemical consumables for the electronics manufacturing and metalworking industries for more than 120 years. At the end of the 2010s, the solar industry was added as a further sector.

As part of the initial strategy, a completely new CI/CD, including a customised logo, was developed for Emil Otto GmbH. All products were given new product images. In addition, the website and all communication and sales documents were redesigned. The three target sectors of electronics manufacturing, metal processing and the solar industry were also individualised in terms of colour and graphics. The company was given a face through interviews and the large number of new products were presented in short, concise press releases. Customers were addressed directly and products were presented at trade fairs. As digital communication progressed, the focus was placed on the use of social media channels, and in the case of new product areas, such as for the solar industry, new digital paths were taken in addition to press work. Separate web areas, including their own brand communication, customised imagery and separate trade fair participations are part of the market launch here.
